THE NBM SHOW Visits The City of Roses

Marking the second visit to the City of Roses, producers in the apparel decoration, awards and engraving, sign and digital graphics industries flooded the Oregon Convention Center in Portland on May 11–12 for the third stop in THE NBM SHOW’s 2018 lineup. The event featured multiple training opportunities and exhibitions from a wide variety of companies, offering attendees the opportunity to train, network, and see the latest technology.

New to the scene was the Coloring with Condé booth. The company provided coloring sheets and invited attendees to use sublimation markers to decorate the designs. Condé representatives took the designs to the main booth to press it on a blank product for attendees to take home. All participants got their photos taken with the finished product, and they were displayed in a slideshow in the company’s main booth. 

Jeff Butler, marketing manager, selected one winner each day of the show based on the quality of artwork, detail, and colors used. Amber Fleek was chosen on Friday for her floral coaster, and Jo Van Hooser was picked on Saturday for her drawing of an orca. Each winner receives a Platinum Subscription to THE NBM NETWORK.

Midwest Sign & Screen Printing Supply Co. also had a prize up for grabs: a $500 certificate to its e-store. To win, participants guessed the amount of faux money in the Cash Box. Daniel Emel of Potter Manufacturing had the closest guess, taking home the winnings. Next, the company will bring the Cash Box to THE NBM SHOW in Indianapolis.
