As 2015 comes to a close, Printwear looks back on a busy year full of exciting moments both at home in Colorado and industry wide.
The year started off with the exhilarating news of THE NBM SHOW holding its first ever convention in Denver, Colorado, in October of 2015. The show was a well received event and plans are underway for a second Denver-based NBM SHOW in November of 2016.
Around the industry, major changes took place for companies like Vapor Apparel, who began construction on a new facility in Charleston, South Carolina. The green-conscious textile manufacturer Metawear opened their doors in Fairfax, Virginia and later became certified organic.
Other new facility openings included a headquarters for STAHLS' TV in Uniontown, PA and a new company headquarters for the M&R Companies in the greater Chicago area. Overseas, Konica Minolta opened a textile innovation center in Bergano, Italy
Anniversaries were also a major part of 2015. Both Coastal Business Supplies and software giant Adobe celebrated 25 year anniversaries, the latter for their iconic suite Photoshop. Closer to home, Printwear’s parent company NBM Inc. celebrated its 30 year anniversary in August.
In addition to newsworthy industry events, Printwear continued the tradition of providing informative and in-depth articles, tips, Q&A, news, and more from knowledgeable contributors in the apparel industry.
