Promotional Products Association International (Irving, Texas) announced Margie Price as the 2011 PPAI Woman of Achievement award winner during the opening ceremony at PPAI’s Women’s Leadership Conference in Charlotte, N.C. The PPAI Woman of Achievement award recognizes women who lead the way in the advancement of women in the industry, exhibit outstanding leadership and make significant contributions to the industry and community.
Price, president and owner of St. Louis-based Premiums Plus Incorporated, served twice on the PPAI Board of Directors. She was also named the 2012 PPAI Distinguished Service Award recipient at the North American Leadership Conference in Denver where Bob Davis, CAS and Paul Lage, were named the 2012 Hall of Fame inductees.
Given since 1977, the Hall of Fame Award recognizes industry professionals for outstanding contributions to the promotional products industry and to the community. Davis owns Specialty Incentives Inc. and has been an active member of the industry for 31 years. He is a past chairman of the PPAI Board, PPEF board member, and served on PPAI’s Strategic Planning Committee, Conventions Committee, Education Committee and Leadership Advisory Council. He also served as the board liaison to the Regional Association Council. He became an Honorary Lifetime Member in 2002.
Lage, MAS, is a 25-year veteran of the promotional products industry. His career began at Gill Studios working in marketing and as an account executive. After leadership roles at BIC Graphic and later at Norwood, he returned to Gill as President and CEO in 2010. He is a past chairman of the PPAI Board and has been actively involved with the Promotional Products College Education Foundation (PPCEF).
