Bahamas Development Corporation Closes Purchase Agreement on Performance Brand

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.—Bahamas Development Corporation (BDCI) closes an Asset Purchase Agreement (APA) on Incite Performance Wear, a U.S.-based athletic wear company. Through the APA, Incite is now a subsidiary of BDCI.

Incite specializes in 100 percent dye-sublimated, moisture-wicking polyester performance wear that also boasts sun protection. The APA grows BDCI’s existing full-service apparel manufacturing services, which cover creative services, dye-sublimation printing, cut-and-sew operations, custom packaging and labeling, and order fulfillment. The company serves a wide range of markets including hospitality, sports, fishing, and military that spans more than 500 clients in the U.S. and Caribbean.

The purchase agreement also marks the second purchase of an apparel brand by BDCI. In early 2017, the company announced it had acquired Native Outfitters, a wholesale apparel company that specializes in athleisure garments. The company estimates combined revenue from the two purchases to exceed $2.4 million for 2018.
