BRIDGEWATERBroderN.J.—Last September, Brother Industries Ltd. received certification according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class I, for inkjet printing on cotton fabrics, pre-treatment and printing with five-color pigments (commission work only). The Consumer Product Safety Commission determined that certification from Oeko-Tex verifies compliance with certain specific requirements under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA). Based on this certification, the GT-541 and GT-782 Brother garment printing machines are capable of producing certain garments that comply with specific requirements of the CPSIA.
