Charles River Apparel Recognizes Team at 30th Annual National Sales Meeting

SHARON, Mass.—Kelly Connolly, Mario Leavell, and Scott Hareid were each recognized at Charles River’s 30th Annual National Sales Meeting for their accomplishments over the past 12 months.
Connolly was named the Charles River Sales Representative of the Year. Connolly is Charles River’s Territory Manager for Ohio and Michigan and serves on her local MIPPA board.
“Kelly’s 2018 was exceptional as she grew in all facets of her business,” Ross Dohrmann, VP of sales, says. “Kelly continues to build exceptional relationships in her markets, giving the extra attention her customers need.  We are very excited to recognize her exceptional sales leadership and performance.”
Leavell, the territory manager for Indiana and Kentucky, received the Susan de Vries Award. This award is named after Susan de Vries (Lipsett), the sister of Barry Lipsett (owner and CEO) and daughter of Walter Lipsett, the company's founder. de Vries passed away from breast cancer in 2006 and is one of the main inspirations behind the Charles River Cares program. “Susan was known for being warm, outgoing, and developing meaningful relationships with those around her. In just over a little over a year with Charles River, Mario has demonstrated these same qualities, and we are proud to give him this award in Susan’s name. We are thrilled to see how quickly Mario connected with his customers and team members and we look forward to seeing him continue to represent the values that we strive for as an organization,” says Barry Lipsett. In 2018, Connolly received the inaugural award
Hareid, the territory manager for Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, was recognized as the Multi-Line Sales Representative of the Year. “Scott and the entire team at Hareid Marketing have greatly contributed to the success of Charles River. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable and well-respected in his territory and in the industry as a whole.  We are very fortunate to have this team representing Charles River,” Rich Corvalan, VP of sales, national accounts, says.
