CHARLOTTE, N.C.—National Business Media wrapped up its successful 2009 tradeshow season with The Printwear Show in Charlotte, N.C. at the Charlotte Convention Center, Oct. 22–24.
Featuring three shows under one roof, The Printwear Show joined forces with The Sign & Digital Graphics Show and The Awards & Engraving Show, offering attendees the chance to discover new business opportunities from two related industries—an occasion unique to the NBM shows, says Laurie Thiel, director of event sales.
“Both exhibitors and attendees are looking for new ways to bring in revenue. For exhibitors, the NBM shows allow them to market to new clients while attendees have the chance to find innovative ways to develop their businesses,” explains Thiel.
Three full days of exhibits and three days of seminars, covering more than 30 useful topics, helped attendees enhance their businesses and networks with other industry professionals. In the exhibit hall, top industry suppliers showcased the latest products and manufacturing technologies to attendees for a firsthand experience. Exhibitors offered special show discounts, and 12 lucky attendees were even awarded $500 in cash vouchers to spend with the exhibiting companies of their choice.
“We are so pleased with the 2009 show season. This was a solid year for us,” says Thiel. “After this year’s success, we plan to build on that momentum and carry the energy into 2010’s signature venues.”
