NEW YORK—Anvil Knitwear announces a partnership that will allow its Eco Collection to be offered through Technosport Canada. The style selection will include the new brand offerings AnvilOrganic and AnvilSustainable.
The AnvilOrganic collection is made from certified organic cotton produced by a system of farming that avoids the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. AnvilSustainable is made from post-consumer P.E.T. polyester and combed ring spun transitional cotton. Each T uses approximately three 20-ounce recycled P.E.T. plastic bottles and cotton that comes from farms undergoing the process of transitioning to organic.

In addition, Anvil launches the “Double IT!” campaign, an initiative to double the domestic acreage of organic cotton by providing a financial incentive to traditional cotton farmers. Anvil produced a digital short titled, "A Message from Earth: Organic Matters,” as part of its commitment to educating farmers and consumers about the benefits of making organic choices.
