DALLAS—GSG seeks entrants for the 17th annual Hank Granberry Golf Classic. The four-person scramble golf tournament takes place yearly as a tribute to H.L. “Hank” Granberry, the father of current GSG president Mark Granberry. Conceived after H.L. Granberry’s death in 2001 of pancreatic cancer, the tournament raises funds for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, two organizations dedicated to the treatment and research of pancreatic cancer.
The 2016 edition of the tournament takes place on Friday, Oct. 21 at the Stonebriar Fazio Resort in Frisco, Texas. The four-person scramble tournament costs $200 per person and includes the round of golf, cart rental, two meals, and a gift bag. Entries are limited to 144 people, and the deadline for entry is Oct. 1.
