Hanes Launches Support for National Park Foundation


WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Hanes unveils a new partnership with the National Park Foundation. The apparel company joins the ranks of other organizations partnering with the foundation to support its Find Your Park/Encuentra Tu Parque movement, a campaign that helps people find select outdoor activities at parks across the United States.

The company continually puts environmentally-oriented initiatives in focus, including an annual carbon emissions report, and efforts to divert 100 percent of production waste from landfills by 2020.

With the partnership, the company also supports the foundation’s Centennial Campaign for America’s National Parks. The campaign focuses on multiple fronts to preserve national parks including extensions of park trails, landscape and habitat restoration, and sustainability improvements. The initiative has raised more than $470 million in private donations towards its efforts to date.
