FARGO, N.D.—Heat Transfer Warehouse participates in Startup Weekend Fargo, March 3–5 at North Dakota State University. The event supports entrepreneurs in the local community and takes place in cities nationwide.
“The annual startup weekend is an international team event designed for exploring new ideas and making them come to life,” says Kirk Anton, CEO of Heat Transfer Warehouse. “What’s cool about (the event) is that people are thrown together and over time—from Friday to Sunday night—they go from a design to a complete concept and business plan.”
The 2016 event marks three years of sponsorship by Heat Transfer Warehouse. The company provides support by donating the $150 entry fee to participants who need assistance with payment and supplies custom apparel to the winning team. Anton also serves as an adviser to teams as needed for the duration of the event.
The company’s participation further serves to reflect its core values, Anton says, adding, “Our focus is helping the community and supporting people starting new things.”
