BOENNIGHEIM, Germany—The Hohenstein Group hosts a March 7 webinar on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at 12 p.m. EST. The session covers terminology and regulations related to PPE.
A focus point of the webinar includes the new regulation for PPE, (EU) 2016/425, set to take effect in April 2018. Hosts cover the key points of this provision and explore other key questions related to protective equipment such as:
What defines PPE?
What kind of categories are there of PPE?
How does a business partner with a trusted testing center or certification body to stay compliant with PPE regulations?
In addition to the March 7 webinar, Hohenstein offers an archived version of a recent webinar entitled “The Key to Confidence: Millennials and Parents and Textile Sustainability.” The presentation examines millennials and their parents’ attitudes regarding harmful substances, textile certification, and textile sustainability. The study is a collaboration with certification agency OEKO-TEX, commissioned by Hohenstein in 2017.
