More than 12,500 register for acclaimed trade expo and education conference.
Proving the entrepreneurial spirit is still alive and well, more than 12,500 professionals registered for National Business Media’s blockbuster three-in-one trade event at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, Long Beach, Calif., July 30-Aug. 1.
This premier exposition and education conference featured The Sign Business & Digital Graphics Show, The Printwear Show and The Awards and Engraving Show all together in 65,000 square feet of exhibit space. A total of 167 exhibiting companies from across all three industries were on hand to present the very latest products for signmaking, digital printing, apparel decorating, engraving and personalization.
“The activity in the exhibit hall was phenomenal,” says Laurie Thiel, NBM’s director of event sales. “Business owners really seized the opportunity to see all the amazing new technologies and materials.”
Thiel says Long Beach attendees benefited tremendously from having three overlapping markets represented at the event. “Presenting all three shows together allows attendees to view the latest advancements in their core markets and then research opportunities in the other markets, all in the same venue.”
Business was brisk in the exhibit hall, with many exhibitors offering show specials or introducing brand-new products. Twelve lucky attendees even received some financial assistance to help with their show purchases. Event organizers drew the names of four attendees each day and awarded each winner $500 worth of vouchers to spend with any exhibitor at the show.
In addition to all the displays and demonstrations in the exhibit hall, the Long Beach event also offered a comprehensive education conference featuring 38 seminars and three in-depth workshops, beginning on July 29. A total of 24 industry experts presented advice on business practices, production techniques, new profit centers and other valuable topics.
