VALDESE, N.C.—Meridian Specialty Yarn Group (MSYG) announces the expansion of its management team. The announcements coincide with the company’s continued expansion in U.S. manufacturing. Additions to the management team include the following two appointments:
Ed Carroll assumes the role of vice president of finance. Prior to his appointment, Carroll served as vice president of finance for the branded apparel segment of Gildan Activewear. In addition to his time with Gildan, Carroll holds more than 20 years of experience working with textile and performance brands such as Hanesbrands and Outer Banks.
Amy Isenhour is appointed to sales and marketing manager. Isenhour joins MSYG with extensive experience in the industry, including roles as brand sales manager for Unifi, dyeing operations manager for Sara Lee Knit operations, and sales representative for Hunstman International Textile Effects. Isenhour also holds a Bachelor of Science in textile and apparel management.
“We have an aggressive growth plan stemming from the recent, and ongoing, heavy capital investments at our Valdese and Ranlo plants, and Ed and Amy will both play vital roles in the execution of that plan,” says Tim Manson, President of MSYG. “They bring a level of professionalism, experience, knowledge, and creativity that completes our management team and have the talent we need to meet our goals.”
The expansion of the MSYG management team comes as the latest development in a busy year for the organization. In early 2016, the company announced plans to expand manufacturing operations in Valdese, N.C.
