National Business Media Turns 30

BROOMFIELD, Colo.—National Business Media, NBM, celebrates 30 years in business. “We’re about people. Everything we’ve done for 30 years is about people – it’s for people and by people.” So says Bob Wieber, CEO of National Business Media Inc., now celebrating 30 years in business.

NBM, the parent company of PRINTWEAR, as well as several other publications, started humbly, with just one publication in 400 square feet of space. Today, the company publishes several monthly trade magazines and produces trade shows in almost every region of the United States. In addition, the company also publishes annual specialty publications, reports, and industry newsletters with complementary websites.

As Wieber noted in a congratulatory email to employees, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states that fewer than 17 percent of small businesses make it to the 30-year mark.

“This puts us in an elite group and we are incredibly blessed to still be here,” he wrote.
