PORTLAND, Ore.—Thinc Actionwear customers got a taste of the latest trends and helped feed the hungry at the Thinc Spring Picnic Open House in April. The Portland-based promotional-apparel company invited clients from across the nation for a look at its 2010 collection, the price of admission being a donation to the Oregon Food Bank, eventually raising almost $1,000.
Slabtown and drinks from the local Hopworks Brewery. Open house attendees wentGuests donated 436 pounds of food and $471 to the cause. Thinc Actionwear agreed to match all donations, for a total contribution of 872 pounds and $942. In addition, Thinc Actionwear treated its visitors to award-winning barbeque from Portland’s own home with a picnic-themed cooler and beverage holder, as well as a glimpse into Thinc Actionwear’s latest showroom additions.
