CLEVELAND—Content Marketing Institute (CMI) names Outdoor Cap as a finalist for its 2017 Best Content Marketing Program in Manufacturing Award. The company’s website Hatswork.com offers unbranded resources for end users, distributors, and decorators on the promotional value of headwear products.
“We are among tough competitors in this space, as many companies that submit entries have large teams with an emphasis on content marketing initiatives,” says Ben Roberts, senior vice president of marketing. “We have a small marketing team and only one person whose sole day-to-day focus is content. We’re very excited to receive this type of recognition and validation for our team’s efforts.”
CMI recognizes projects, agencies, and marketers annually with various award distinctions for their efforts in content marketing. Judges choose from 1,100 entries to determine finalists for the Institute’s awards, ranging from strategy and distribution to editorial and design.
“It’s been another amazing year for the Content Marketing Awards,” says Joe Pulizzi, founder, Content Marketing Institute. “It’s an honor to be able to recognize companies and organizations who are the true leaders and innovators when it comes to implementing a content marketing strategy that is exceeding expectations and truly helping companies or clients succeed.”
Outdoor Cap launched Hatswork.com in early 2016 and has since added content from a wide variety of contributors.
