Pantone Reports Color Confidence Among Consumers

CARLSTADT, N.J.—Pantone LLC releases the Spring/Summer 2013 edition of the PANTONE VIEW Colour Planner. This multi-discipline color forecast, titled Unity&CO, highlights the key color palettes for women’s wear, menswear and active wear.

“Recent color block stories on the catwalk have paved the way for a new sense of color confidence among consumers,” says Laurie Pressman, vice president of fashion, home and interiors at Pantone. With this in mind the company produced eight key palettes for the season, all with a focus on color. The company reports that for the 2013 season, neutrals are taking on more color with nudes shown peachy and dusty, exotic browns or navies replacing stark black, and brights are shown in more fluorescent shades.

The Colour Planner is available for purchase at or from PANTONE distributors nationwide.
