In October, the Penn Emblem Company’s location in Mexico celebrated 15-years in operation.
Anniversary festivities were held on Oct. 15 to celebrate what began as a four-employee manufacturing operation in 2000. Fifteen years later, Penn Emblem Mexico is now fully staffed with over 100 employees, Marketing Support Coordinator Dana DiBerardino says, adding that the location currently runs 17 hours a day, 5 days a week.
“It was originally opened just to meet demands,” DiBerardino adds. “But now it’s a full-service manufacturing plant.”
Penn Emblem Mexico, she explains, ships out embroidered and flame resistant products, screen printed logos, ID Label Tape and many more products and services every day. “Recently, they became WRAP certified…which signifies our plant promoting “safe, lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing’,” DiBerardino says. “Our facility continues to thrive and takes pride in everything they create for our customers.”
