SANTA ANA, Mexico—Employees of the Penn Emblem Mexico facility take part in the town of Santa Ana’s Christmas parade.
The Penn Emblem staff built a toy factory themed parade float and multiple employees participated in the parade on Dec. 6. The float took roughly three weeks to construct and took 20 employees to build.
The event is organized by the municipal government and features a wide variety establishments including area schools and local businesses.
“It’s a traditional event held every year,” says plant manager Karina Jimenez, adding that it symbolizes the start of the Christmas season in Santa Ana.
The conclusion of the parade is marked by the lighting of a Christmas tree, roughly 50 ft. tall, in the center of town, known as La Plaza.
