Penn Emblem Renews 2018 WBENC Certification

PHILADELPHIA—Penn Emblem renews its National Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC) certification for 2018. The company currently holds eight years of WBENC certification.

The WBENC is a non-profit organization that evaluates businesses owned, controlled, and operated by women and focuses on fueling economic growth by certifying those businesses. Penn Emblem’s operational and management departments feature multiple women-led teams, including Randi Blumenthal-Joseph, president of the company since 2010.

“We encourage and support women to be outstanding in their careers,” comments Blumenthal-Joseph. “Here at Penn, many women are in leadership positions and contribute to the success of our business every single day.”

To receive WBENC certification, companies undergo an in-depth review of the business and a full site inspection.

Penn Emblem accepted 2017 certification after a thorough review by the organization in September 2016.
