CLEVELAND—PolyOne Corporation makes two internal appointments, effective June 1, 2018. The company names Giuseppe (Joe) Di Salvo as vice president of investor relations and Justin M. Hess as vice president, corporate controller.
In their new roles, Hess and Di Salvo continue to report to Bradley C. Richardson, executive vice president and chief financial officer. Di Salvo is responsible for leading investor relations activities and serves as the primary point of contact for the company’s investment community. He comes to the role after previously serving as vice president, corporate controller with a career at PolyOne that dates back to 2011. Di Salvo replaces Eric Swanson, who moves to director of finance for the company’s performance products and solutions division.
With Di Salvo’s appointment, Hess takes over the role of vice president, corporate controller. In his new position, Hess oversees the integrity of global accounting systems, corporate and manufacturing accounting, and consolidation of the company’s global financial results. He comes to the role after previously serving as vice president for PolyOne’s internal audit division.
The announcement comes in a series of recent major promotions and high-level changes at the company. In late April 2018, the company named an interim president of its specialty engineered materials department, as well as a new vice president of research and development.
