CHICAGO—Quality Certification Alliance (QCA) expands its options for distributors and apparel decorators with a new certification program. QCA says the new program allows decorators and distributors to strengthen their commitment to safety and responsible sourcing.
“Being accountable doesn’t only rest on the shoulders of suppliers,” states Tim Brown, executive director of operations at QCA. Our industry is about partnership, and distributors/decorators share in the responsibility of providing safe and responsibly-sourced products.”
Brown adds that QCA created the new certification as a response to industry demand and that the organization looks forward to offering “greater assurance and peace of mind” to corporate brands as well as the industry’s reputation. A heightened level of accountability and transparency will help the industry rise above “the ‘trinkets and trash’ image of old,” and prove the validity of promotion products, Brown contends.
