MIAMI, Fla.—Ricoma marks global expansion and recaps its recent rebranding at a distributor event in Shanghai, China. The company says that this year’s gathering comes in at more than double capacity since its start in 2009, with more than 120 attendees.
Frank Ma, Ricoma founder, says that rebranding the organization aims to address evolutions both in digital technology and company culture.
“Our rebranding was more than just a cosmetic improvement – it also came with a renewed mindset,” adds Ma. “While we will always be devoted to our old slogan, ‘a passion for excellence,’ we decided that it was time to 'think beyond' mere excellence.”
In early 2017, Ricoma rolled out multiple changes to its website as part of the rebranding initiative. The updated site offers features such as a dealer portal, daily blogs, and a training and resources section.
“Now, customers can sign documents right from their phone or computer, so you can close deals anywhere,” states Miguel Ciarreta, vice president of global operations at Ricoma. “And with our distributor portal, our partners have access to all the files and marketing materials they need in one convenient spot.”
In addition to rebranding improvements, the company says the reception coincides with continued global expansion. Since 2015, Ricoma’s international network has grown to more than 130 countries including France, Spain, and Portugal.
