IRVINE, Calif.—Roland DGA marks the official opening of the Imagination Center in Wilmington, Mass. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening event. The 3,500 sq. ft. facility operates as both a training center and sample production site for Roland resellers and customers. The new facility also features the Creative Gallery, a public gallery which houses examples of Roland’s creative output and provides visitors with a firsthand look at what the company’s equipment does. Held on June 16, event attendees included end users, members of the press, Roland DGA dealers, the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, and Joseph Tofalo, a representative from the office of Massachusetts Senator Bruce Tarr.
"The grand opening was a lively, well-attended event, and we were thrilled to receive such a warm welcome from not only the Chamber of Commerce but also the representative for state senator Bruce Tarr and other important Massachusetts representatives," says Rick Scrimger, president of the Roland DGA Corporation.
Attendees were treated to tours of the new facility and demonstrations of wide-format Roland DGA printers. Initially announced in early April 2016, the new Roland DGA facility was created in order to better serve the large domestic customer base in the region. Roland cites more than 70 percent of its domestic customer base located east of the Mississippi river.
