ISSAQUAH, Wash.—SanMar Corporation announces additions and updates to its brand management leadership team. The changes include new hires and promotions of existing staff. The company names Janine Oates as the team’s design director and Teak Hernandez as director for SanMar’s athletic brands. Additionally, SanMar promotes Rob Crowley to senior director of basic brands.

Hernandez joins SanMar from Adidas, bringing experience from a variety of well-known retail sports brands. Hernandez works with the merchandising team to drive the vision for SanMar’s athletic brands including Sport-Tek, OGIO, and New Era.

“As we strive to bring even more compelling product to our market, we are excited to grow our team to ensure we are passionately focused on customer and end-user needs,” says Shelley Renning, vice president of brand management at SanMar. “Bringing in talent like Janine and Teak, while watching those already within the SanMar family, like Rob, take on new challenges only helps to provide new perspectives to our design and merchandising stories. It is a privilege to collaborate with merchandisers and designers to create the vision and help products come to life!”
