DUBUQUE, Iowa—Shirt Lab founders Tom Rauen and Marshall Atkinson have two events planned for the 2020 season, and tickets are now available.
Shirt Lab Chicago—billed as the Shirt Lab Women’s Nexus—takes place on June 6. Atkinson says he and Rauen take feedback from attendees after any event. That, coupled with market surveys, told the pair that “there was a demand for an event that focused on women’s entrepreneurial issues.”
Innovation director for The M&R Companies Michelle Moxley will moderate the Women’s Nexus. Speakers for this event include Lori Feldman with The Database Diva, Erin Moore with Barrel Maker Printing, Kristine Shreve with EnMart, Millisa Clark with US Blanks, Ali Banholzer with Wear Your Spirit Wearhouse, and Johanna Gottlieb with Axis Promotions.
Shirt Lab encourages interested parties to purchase tickets early, as seating is limited to fifty participants.
In addition to the new Chicago program, Shirt Lab Dallas has expanded to a two-day education format set for Oct. 2–3. Instead of keeping to a Saturday-only event, Atkinson and Rauen brought in more instructors for Friday sessions. Instructors for the Shirt Lab Dallas program include Jay Busselle with Equipment Zone, Mike Chong with Merch Monster, Jonathan Tynes with Kickprint, Erich Campbell with BriTon Leap, Lori Campbell with The Database Diva, Marshall Atkinson with Atkinson Consulting, Tom Rauen with Envision Tees, Jason Rink with Simplifilm, Richard Greaves, and Mark Coudray with Catalyst Accelerator.
Best-selling author and sales expert Jeffrey Gitomer is the keynote speaker on Saturday.
After the event ends on Saturday, pre-signed up and interested attendees can play in the musical jam band session as part of “The Misprints.”
