Stahls' Presents Custom Jerseys to Families of Oklahoma Bombing

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich.—The team at Stahls' Decorating Fulfillment Center received a rush order from the Oklahoma City Thunder organization, who wanted custom "city" jerseys made to represent the 168 victims of the Oklahoma City bombing. In a powerful pregame ceremony at the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball game on Tuesday, Nov. 5, custom jerseys were presented to the families who lost loved ones in the 1995 tragedy.

The jersey presentation involved a line of "city" jerseys specially designed by Nike. Normally, “city” editions of NBA team jerseys aren’t released until late November. The Oklahoma City Thunder organization received special permission to release their jerseys earlier for the ceremony.

Zach Ellsworth, director of fulfillment technology for Stahls’ DFC, tells Printwear, "Stahls’ Decorating Fulfillment Center, located in Masontown, Pennsylvania, does custom jersey fulfillment for many NBA teams as a licensed decorator. When we received the order, we coordinated with Nike to get the jerseys earlier and get them to the stadium on time for the presentation."

According to ESPN, "Following a short video presentation, the families took the floor moments before tipoff and held up jerseys displaying No. 95 and the name of their loved one on the back."
