STAHLS’ Transfer Express Holds Heat Press Race

MENTOR, Ohio—How long would it take to heat press 10 shirts? STAHLS’ Transfer Express put this task to the test with its Great Heat Press Race held during a trade show in March. Using the tag line, “Print four colors in four seconds,” the company’s Goof Proof transfers were used.

Two attendees were picked for each contest and each was assigned a heat press station. Contestants used one of two presses: an auto open clam shell or a new heat press that can be used as a swing-away or drawer style. Contestants raced to see who could press 10 shirts the fastest with a Transfer Express staffer assisting them by handing them the shirt and transfer. All contestants were able to press 10 shirts in less than two minutes with the fastest time being one minute 45 seconds. The winner received a $100 gift card off their first order with Transfer Express, and the runner-up received a package of Transfer Express numbers. The company is planning to hold Great Heat Press race competitions at future trade shows.
