TAMPA, Fla.—National Business Media Inc. drew droves of qualified professionals to the Tampa Convention Center, Sept. 25–26, for The Printwear Show, The Sign Business & Digital Graphics Show and The Awards and Engraving Show.
In the exhibit hall, show attendees viewed and shopped the latest materials and manufacturing technologies, presented by top industry suppliers from their own industry, as well as from two crossover markets. In addition to the show specials available to all, eight lucky attendees were each awarded $500 in cash vouchers to spend with the exhibiting companies of their choice. Chuck Korringa, owner of Technographics (Clermont, Fla.), was one of those winners and used the prize money to purchase artwork from Action Illustrated, which he says will be valuable to his online T-shirt business. “The artwork is going to be extremely helpful in the new designs I’m creating, and it’s given me new ideas for product lines,” remarks Korringa.
Show attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive education conference, featuring more than 30 relevant industry topics and two hands-on workshops. “When I see attendees achieving goals and using the tips and techniques I teach, it’s rewarding from that standpoint. But it also strengthens the entire industry when you have wise business owners who are investing time and effort,” says Vince DiCecco, instructor at NBM’s education conference and owner of YourPERSONALBusinessTRAINER.
