CINCINNATI—TSC Apparel announces an exclusive partnership with designer Dov Charney and his clothing line, Los Angeles Apparel. The former American Apparel CEO’s new brand is a line of basics crafted and manufactured in South Central Los Angeles.
“Bringing in Los Angeles Apparel gives TSC the opportunity to provide our customers with the American-made apparel option that they’re looking for, and we look forward to a successful partnership,” says Bob Winget, president of TSC Apparel.
In addition to basics, Los Angeles Apparel says it plans to offer an expanded line of products with new cuts, styles, and colors.
The news of the partnership comes as Charney continues to roll out details about his apparel company. In the fall of 2016, he spoke with Business Insider about his plans for manufacturing and designing clothing in the Los Angeles area. The company employs more than 200 employees at its factory in South Central Los Angeles, and roughly an additional 100 people in the Los Angeles area.
“We’re thrilled for the opportunity to partner with TSC,” says Charney. “We will walk through walls to get the customer what they need when they need it.”
