Unifi Unveils New Branding Campaign and Logo


GREENSBORO, N.C.—Unifi unveils a new branding initiative and logo. The company released the information at the 2018 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Denver.

As part of the branding initiative, the company says it is repositioning its performance technologies with its new PROFIBER brand. The technology features a wide range of performance properties such as wicking, thermal comfort, full coverage, bounce, stretch, sun protection, and water resistance. To coincide with this, the updated logo features the tagline “Starts in the fiber.”

“Consumers want reliable performance that lasts the life of the garment, and that’s why we strive to deliver options with our high-quality fiber and technology platforms,” says Jay Hertwig, group vice president of global brand sales. “By offering a wide range of products focused on benefits, we can help our customers create innovative fabrics that solve everyday problems and meet and exceed their consumers’ expectations.”

The company also offered attendees a glimpse at its REPREVE National Mobile Tour, a display that educates customers on Unifi’s proprietary recycled fiber.
