How can I eliminate board or iron marks from a garment that are left by a heat transfer press?

There are a couple options to eliminate marks left on a shirt via heat press application. If applying to a 100 percent cotton or 50/50 blend, try using a pre-treatment spray before application. These eliminate some of the effects that burning off the shirt's excess moisture can cause. If applying to a polyester or performance fabric and experiencing this problem, the only real solution is to find a transfer material that applies at a lower temperature.
