I see so many different types of T-shirts available for printing these days. Are there ones that are better for direct-to-garment printing?
When it comes to direct-to-garment printing, all T-shirts art not created equal. The best garment to print on any direct-to-garment printer will be made from 100 percent ringspun cotton. More tightly woven T-shirts with a smooth surface will accept water-based ink better than a loose weave. On the plus side, many manufacturers are starting to heed the demand and producing more choices of T-shirts specifically for use in the rapidly expanding direct-to-garment marketplace.
