What are the differences between bobbin styles?
The different styles or sizes of industrial embroidery bobbins are easy to differentiate. It has to do with the diameter of the bobbins. The L-style bobbins are about the diameter of a nickel while the M-style bobbins are similar to the size of a quarter. Don’t confuse the industrial L with the similar-size A-style bobbins. The A-style bobbins are used in home embroidery machines. They, too, are similar to the diameter of a nickel but taller than the L-style.
